ABOUT ME
Hi, am FRANKLIN NWANGNE. Am the person behind the blogimize blog.[ WordPress and digital marketing blog ].
Blogging has been my passion ever since I’m 15 years. I have done so much to be certified 3 times in “HUBSPOT ACADEMY”.
Am certified in growth-driven design, inbound, and inbound marketing.
let me share with you my blogging story
It’s a lengthy type but it will motivate you to push hard and never quit, I know how hard its to start a successful blog.
2015
In the year 2015, that’s I was 15 years old. I began to chase my blogging dreams. I created a free blog on a blogger platform called “MYWAPBLOG.COM”.
I have no knowledge then, my interest was just to own a blog that I can write on.
I blog on tech niche[ CATEGORY OF MY BLOG ].
I do provide my readers with free browsing tricks. My ex-college mates do call me ”DUPE.HECK” as an ID to my blog’s name ”DUPE.HECK.IN”.
I randomly choose the domain because then I don’t know anything about blogging.
A sad story. After few months of creating the blog, I got a message from “MYWAPBLOG” that all the sites hosted on their server will be shut down in a short distance of time.
I was heartbroken and full of agony.
They gave us time though to switch to blogger and wordpress but then I don’t know what to do because I was a novice.
I couldn’t migrate to another cms or blogging platform so I lost the blog, and that’s the end of the “Mywapblog site”.
2016
I returned back to my journey again in 2016.
On my research, I found Google blogging platform @blogger. I created a free blog with Blogspot called ”HANCHEAT’
As you can see, I’m still within a free browsing niche.
I have no intent on making money. my aim was to satisfy myself by doing what I love.
I gave up on the blog because I lack resources and I don’t know how to go about the blog’s management.
I have no option other than to quit my blog “@HANCHEAT.BLOGSPOT.COM.
2017
I kept giving it a thought. I never admit it. Now I have gone a long way on my research to find the best and, most popular CMS in the world @WORDPRESS.
I created a free blog with a lite version of wordpress named ”IZCOOFFICIAL.WORDPRESS.COM”
Although The blog wasn’t successful, then, I have reached a level of getting to know wordpress.com and wordpress.org(it’s different).
2018
when I graduated from my secondary school education in 2018. I began to read more about wordpress, and successful blogging tips. I made lots of research on it to improve myself.
I didn’t create a blog in the year 2018 since the ones I have created were successful.
I used the little time I have to learn more from other bloggers…
2019
I was desperate to launch a blog but it was really hard for me since I have no one that pushes me through in terms of finance.
At this point in time, I had acquired a lot of knowledge and experience in blogging, the difference between wordpress.com/org, but funding was my problem.
I began to research again about free hosting providers and domain registrar since I can’t pay for a good host.
I tried to raise money for my self but it wasn’t an easy task for me; currency conversion was a big obstacle for
me.
During my research, I found another free web hosting called “INFINITY FREE” and free domain registrar “@FREENOM”
I thought I have found the hidden treasure, because of the host’s feature and it turned to be a scrap due to its limitations.
I launched a new site with these credentials “THEISKO.EPIZY.COM[host] & THEISKO.TK[domain] but I give in because of CPU and INODE limitations which is awful.
I do wait for 24hrs before my site could be accessed whenever it’s limited.
This made my user’s experience awkward and extreme.
During this period I do go to the betting shop to customize my site with their system since I couldn’t purchase any. I stop to manage the site because of the bad experience I had with my host.
I never quit though, I carried out another research. I found that there’s another free web hosting company called “00WEBHOST” but that couldn’t solve my problem; same drama. The site wasn’t successful. This is the point where I said to myself that I wouldn’t use any free hosting company again since all of them are the same.
2020
AND FINALLY IN 2020 ”BLOGIMIZE” WAS LAUNCHED.
During this period, I do take online courses, tutorial videos, reading E-book, and blog posts about “WEB DEVELOPMENT, WORDPRESS, SEO, ONLINE ADVERTISING, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND DIGITAL/AFFILIATE MARKETING. I spend almost all my day reading, learning, and writing; I do spend 8-19hrs/day on average doing the same thing over and over and again.
I implement the knowledge I acquired from experts, by reading and writing an article on each and every topic I read. And that’s on a piece of paper.
What I have in mind was to write hundreds of blog posts I will publish when launching the site, although I have no source of income then.
I had written an article on #300k word counts on up to 900 pages. It’s unbelievable but that’s a fact. For up to 1 year, I do repeat the same thing.
Sometimes my morning prayer was to read and write.
My mom does call me a writer, sometimes she does criticize me for this because I do nothing again, than just to write. Despite a critical illness, I was suffering from for 7-8months, it never stopped me from doing what I love. I do believe that I would be successful on it so I keep on pushing harder.
My intuition was to be perfect and an expert in my field and then, create a funnel where newbie bloggers, SEO’s, and wordpress users find a reliable source of info, guides, and fixes.
My Goals and objective were to make sure my dreams and passion come true and also to help newbies bloggers avoid silly mistakes I did, also, help them to avoid and fix potential errors.
When I was about to launch the blog, I have no cash with me. I was desperate because I knew I have gotten what it requires to start a blog[experience and knowledge] but funding was a big obstacle for me to overcome.
I began to think about how to launch it. I tried to borrow from my friend but was disappointed.
I created a Facebook group for bloggers and SEO’s called[NEWBIE BLOGGERS].
I tried to monetize my group by recommending products for my group participants as an affiliate but I couldn’t excel since most of my followers were from 3rd tier countries and of younger age group. They couldn’t purchase the services I recommend although they showed a high interest in it.
I knew my chance of earning from the Bluehost affiliate program was low[1% possibility] So I began to look for alternatives.
Fortunately for me, I came across Bluehost’s advert on Facebook. I followed up the campaign, replied to relevant comments, and provide solutions to problems potential customers are having. I used that medium and opportunity to promote my affiliate link. few hours after my recommendation I got an email from Bluehost that someone used my affiliate link to register and as a matter of fact, I was rewarded with a $100 bounty.
I was really happy, that was when I realized that I could make money on blogging. I couldn’t withdraw my earning until 45days interval and that was a big issue for me cause am desperate to launch the blog.
During this period I met two Facebook group users of mine on WhatsApp.
I mentored and helped them to fix some issues on their blog and earn a little amount of money from my freelancing services.
I became a close friend with one. We began to share ideas on how to launch our individual blog.
We teamed up and purchase a 2yrs host on hosting since we are on a low budget.
Before purchasing the host, I had earned about $340 within a 3weeks interval on Facebook as an affiliate.
And that’s how “BLOGIMIZE.COM” was created [ on 1st November 2020 ].
